A typical freelance translator for GlobalListing will have majored in modern languages, a minimum of five years' professional translation experience and one or two specialized areas of translation expertise. We would also expect him/her to have a good computer setup (Pentium II, high-speed modem) as well as the industry standard software. Microsoft Office 97/2000 (Word, FrontPage, etc.) is essential.
